Job Description:

CSRA is seeking a Project Manager to support the milCloud® 2.0 program.

CSRA has deployed its own on premise Cloud solution into the DoD data centers. CSRA is operating this Cloud to support DoD Mission Partners meet their Cloud requirements. This approach ensures that (1) DoD Mission Partners can easily directly migrate or support migration efforts for the broad array of complex military applications that would benefit from our Cloud offerings and (2) can evolve with the pace of technology and is not locked into a specific OEM provider.

Position Description:

  • Oversee and manage the entire project lifecycle from project initiation to closeout of multiple technical and software development projects in support of the milCloud® 2.0 program.

  • Responsible for the generation and management of all required project artifacts (stakeholder plan, communication plan, project schedule, WBS, etc) per PMBOK. Performs risk management.

  • Responsible for the day-to-day execution of the projects leveraging various project management approaches including but not limited to Agile and/or Waterfall.

  • Direct liaison between project management and planning, project team, line management, developers, and other technical teams.

  • Review status of projects and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports. Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients and other stakeholders.

  • Serve as the project manager for a large, complex task order (or a group of task orders affecting the same system) and assist the Program Manager in working with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), the task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel and customer agency representatives.

  • Under the guidance of the Program Manager, responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner.


  • Project Management Certification (i.e. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, other recognized certification, etc.)

  • Experience managing complex software and IT Data Center projects from cradle to grave.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a work environment of similar size and complexity to this project.

  • Subject matter expert in risk management.

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical discipline (system admin, software develop, IT engineer, etc)

  • DoD experience

  • DoD Secret Clearance

  • Experience with DoD Accreditation process preferred

  • ITIL/ITSM experience a plus

  • IAT/IAM Lvl 2 Certification preferred.
