The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs direct patient care tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse and performs various tasks as competency documentation designates. Work occasionally requires internal contacts outside the work group to exchange relevant information. Communication with external contacts involves providing or giving factual information.


Night Shift

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Minimum of three 12 hour shifts per month. One shift must be a weekend shift (Friday/Saturday).

Work Location: Howard County General Hospital

Must have a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma, completion of an approved medical training program beyond high school (i.e., PCT Training Program, Nursing Technician), completion of an approved phlebotomy course preferred.

1 year of related experience required
