We are looking to hire Spa Front Desk Receptionists at the Live! Spa, our newest luxury spa in Hanover, MD, part of the flagship Maryland Live! Hotel, opening May 2018.

Job Description:

Responsible for booking all spa treatments, explaining services to guests, retail sales and checking in and checking out all guests in a professional manner. The right candidate will be well-spoken, entrepreneurial, have a welcoming attitude, and is sensitive to guest needs.

Know front desk operations including reservations systems, filing systems, sales systems and guest check-in procedures.

Greets patrons immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome.

Listens and addresses guests requests, and responds with appropriate action and provides accurate information.

Communicates guest complaints to Spa Management.

Must be patient, a courteous listener and able to show empathy.

Attend all mandatory meetings, as directed by Spa Director or Assistant Spa Director.

Provide customer service to guests, including information about hotel services, activities, and directing guests to other areas of the hotel.

Take reservations and check-in guests while providing exceptional guest service.


  • Must be polished, professional, and have a strong command of both written and verbal English.

  • Must have a minimum 2-year college Associates Degree and at least 1-2 years experience in customer service, spa, hospitality, sales and/or retail.

  • Candidates must also be authorized to work in the US.

  • Must also be proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, and holidays) and must also be available on an "on-call" basis (if needed).

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate + gratuity pool + commission
